Chapter one
A small door on a sunny street.
In the summer of 1999, Heather opened a small boutique in Miami with a single rack of linen shirts and one simple belief — that a woman's wardrobe should make her feel like the very best version of herself.
Word travelled quickly. Neighbours brought friends. Friends brought daughters. The boutique grew, but the intention never did. Each piece was chosen by hand, each fabric felt against the skin, each fit tried on real women — never mannequins.
